On March 16, 2020, our team received visions, prayerful revelation and a powerful prophetic word from God about the nature of the Corona Virus Pandemic and how we, as Christ-followers, must respond. We shared this word on instagram and were overwhelmed to learn, the next day, that many ministries and individuals around the globe had received the same word, down to many of the very same scriptures, in identical timing!

On the same day the U.S. declared a National Day of Prayer, many lifted their voices asking God for clarity, answers and hope, and God moved powerfully over His body of believers to answer! While the word may seem hard, it is truly holy. He is presently awakening sleepers, purifying His Church and calling all with ears to hear back to His heart.

I pray that you will listen through the entirety of this word. If you cut out early you may be left fearful, but if you hang through I believe the power of the Living God will speak directly to you in an incredible and edifying way! I also encourage you to share this with your friends and family. I have included scripture references and notes for your own exploration & prayer below.

2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (Note: Australian wildfires — the rain was held back // Africa — locust plague // World pandemic of COVID-19 — pestilence), Isaiah 30, Ezekiel 13, Number 16:46-50, Revelation 3:16 & 19, Luke 6:47-49, Matthew 4:17, 2 Timothy 2:19, 2 Peter 3:9, Hebrews 12:10, Joel 2:12-13…and many more!

The Spirit of the Lord is moving, speaking and making Himself very clear. Now is the time for prayer, repentance, national intercession and petitioning. Do not fear, repentance is the most beautiful invitation for the humble and reverent heart, especially when you know the grace and freedom on the other side. We all have unrepentant sin in our own hearts and certainly this nation has plenty of opportunity to turn our hearts back to God’s Word, His ways and His heart. The Church shares the same room to do the same, in many, many ways!

We cannot be like those who in 1 John 1:8 claim they have no sin, and thus deceive themselves. He loves us and He is jealous for our love. He wants you FREE from the unrepentant sin that is so easily entangling you. Humble yourself before Him and He will lift you up (James 4:10). He assures us in His Word it is the very thing that bears fruit! If we want true revival, we must first embrace repentance. Personally, communally, nationally and globally!

Proverbs 1:7 also reminds us that, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Perhaps, in this, He is also waking the Church, our nation, and the world up to the balance of reverent, honoring fear and deep, abounding love. We love to talk about the love of God, but don’t press in enough to the reverent and healthy fear of God. He is real. And just. And detests sin. In the same breath He is merciful and patient, and has made a way through Yeshua (Jesus) for His children to see Him, know Him and return to Him. He wants us to live holy, God-honoring lives. Apart from communion, humility, submission and obedience to God we are only fooling ourselves!

In this present time of social distancing and isolation, we have no excuse. He is granting us time and space in this season to spend time with Him. Turn off Netflix, get off your phone, stop getting drunk off of idleness. Become sober-minded, wake up and make this time matter! Go lay on your face and ask God to speak to you. To point out the sin in your life. Where is unforgiveness? Idolatry? Sexual perversion? Gluttony? Gossip? Laziness? When He points it out and draws things up, don’t run in shame, hand it to Him! He truly wants to take it from you. His great grace abounds! He loves you! He will not leave you nor forsake you. He sees all within you already. And His mercy is available right now.

You may feel like we fall in the great minority believing, spreading and understanding this message, but hold fast to 2 Timothy 2:19, “God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” Repent. Turn back to Him. He is calling us back to His heart.

Amen.
